Glass Fiber Knitted Felt is a nonwoven reinforcement material made by mechanically knitting chopped glass fibers into a soft yet structurally stable fabric using a polyester knitting yarn. Unlike traditional Kurzfasermatten (CSM), which rely on chemical binders to hold the fibers together, knitted felt is binder-free, offering excellent flexibility, drapability, and enhanced compatibility with various resin systems such as polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy, and phenolic.
