How to clean fiberglass filaments?

Time of Release : 2024-08-08

When fiberglass products are broken, fiberglass filaments are produced. Fiberglass filaments need to be handled with caution because they are very small and fragile, and can easily penetrate the skin or respiratory tract, causing discomfort or even more serious injuries.

When fiberglass filaments are found, wear wear-resistant gloves, long-sleeved clothing, masks and safety glasses to prevent the fibers from penetrating the skin or respiratory tract. Find a tape that can be used at hand, carefully stick it on the skin, and gently tear it off. The stickiness of the tape can help stick the fibers together. If the tape does not work, you can try to use some sticky substances such as glue or scissors dust glue to absorb the fiberglass filaments, and then gently pat or gently twitch them to stick them up.

If the fibers penetrate the skin, you can first rinse with cold water and apply a cold, wet towel to the wound to help relieve pain and reduce inflammation. If there are fibers that cannot be handled by yourself or penetrate deep, it is best to seek professional help immediately. The doctor can use professional tools to remove them safely.

When handling fiberglass strands, it is important to be careful and avoid getting them into your skin or respiratory tract to avoid unnecessary health risks.
